Andy, Wipeout’s founder and company director, started the business in October 1990. With a background as a bricklayer, Andy brought his vast knowledge of brick and stone into the realm of cleaning, aiming to achieve optimum results in brick and stone cleaning. He is particularly proud of how the company has adapted over the years, moving with the times and embracing new technologies, even though Wipeout began before the era of mobile phones and the internet.

Andy’s role at Wipeout encompasses the day-to-day running of the business. He is responsible for quoting work, meeting customers, dealing with queries, arranging the work rota, and ensuring that all tasks are carried out professionally and safely. His leadership has seen the company navigate recessions and the COVID-19 pandemic, always striving to improve methods and innovate.

Reflecting on his journey, Andy says:

I have enjoyed my journey with Wipeout and getting the best team we have ever had together. I still relish gaining new customers and finding new innovative ways to carry out work, and continually strive to make improvements in our methods. I am very proud that I still have customers from Wipeout’s inception.

Clare joined Wipeout in July 2005, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Married to Andy, Clare is a company director and has taken charge of all office-based requirements. With a decade of field experience, she understands the operational aspects of the business inside out. Clare’s responsibilities include finance, IT, marketing, HR, compliance, and the day-to-day running of the office.

Clare excels in organisation, ensuring smooth business operations and that staff are fully trained in health and safety procedures. Her dedication to quality and training is reflected in the high standards of work, particularly in graffiti removal and monument cleaning.

Clare proudly states,

We have an amazing team, and it always astounds me when we receive the before-and-after pictures of work achieved, especially in graffiti removal and monument cleaning, where our method of DOFF cleaning is especially needed to avoid damage. It is a great honour to be trusted with war memorials, and it reflects our capabilities.

James began his journey with Wipeout as an apprentice in 2017 and has since climbed the ranks to become a supervisor. Known for his hard work, determination, and professionalism, James plays a crucial role in maintaining the company’s high standards. He oversees in-house training, ensures the maintenance of all vehicles and machinery, and keeps stock items at their required levels to ensure business continuity.

James is a well-respected and liked member of the team. His dedication to his role and customers is evident. James says:

What I enjoy most is the immediate and visible impact of the results. There’s a real sense of accomplishment in seeing the stark contrast between the before and after of a job. It’s also rewarding to see the satisfaction on our clients’ faces when they see the results. Their positive feedback and appreciation make the hard work worthwhile.

Gabriel has been with Wipeout for four years, demonstrating diligence, reliability, and a strong work ethic. With his experience and calm demeanour, Gabriel effectively handles day-to-day challenges and works independently. His previous experience as an HGV driver is a valuable asset to our fully mobile steam cleaning company.
Gabriel enjoys the varied nature of his work and the impressive results of DOFF cleaning, especially on stonework facades. He says:

I enjoy travelling to different locations as part of my work, and I am always amazed at the results that DOFF cleaning can achieve, especially on stonework facades.

Loui, the newest member of the Wipeout team, joined in 2024. His enthusiasm, hard work, and conscientious nature have quickly made him an asset to the company. Loui’s background in customer service shines through in his role, and he has adapted well to all tasks and completed his training promptly.

Loui expresses his satisfaction with his job, saying,

I enjoy working for Wipeout because I work alongside a great team, and my favourite part of the job is the satisfaction I get from seeing the before-and-after results of graffiti removal.

Aga has been a part of the Wipeout team since 2018, specialising in communal cleaning, sparkle cleans, and carpet cleaning. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality have made her a favourite among customers, who often request her for regular and void cleans.

Aga values the variety and clear definition of her work, as well as the company’s investment in their staff. She says:

I enjoy working for Wipeout as the work is always varied and clearly defined. They are a good company to work for and invest in their staff. My favourite part of my role is being trusted to work on my own initiative in and around the London and Surrey areas where I live.
